At Steppers Moving Co, we are dedicated to making moving easy and affordable for college students and young professionals. Our mission is to provide cost-effective solutions that won't break the bank.
What will a move cost me?
Cost will vary depending on the size and location of the move (are you on a 3rd floor with stair access?)
Did you know the average move in the U.S cost between $800 - $2,000!

We charge $180/hr for a 3 man crew + box truck with a two hour minimum. Depending on your situation we can add or remove a crew member and that will change your hourly rate. The 3 man crew is the most effective so that's our standard.

What dose my service come with?
Everything!

Our movers come equipped with everything they need to transport your belongings safely to your new home! Taxes is included in hour hourly rate with no hidden fees
How do I prepare?
Your preparedness will directly effect how long your move take and therefore how much it will cost.
BOXES BOXES BOXES!
Everything that can be packed in a box should be. Loose items are awkward to pack and carry which can lead to longer time on the clock :( Cardboard boxes are ideal. Dressers and desks should be empty and cleared to mitigate the odds of them breaking (plus our movers backs and knees would appreciate it).

Trash bags make great containers for soft items like clothes, blankets, pillows etc. (don't worry we wont confuse it for actual garbage)

Having beds disassembled before hand can save you up to 45 minutes! but no worries we are more than qualified to disassemble and reassemble your bed
Are you just movers?
No were people too!
Our team is awesome at residential moves, deliveries, and loading/unloading PODs or U-Haul's for our new Austin arrivals or deserters! (idk why anyone whould want to leave??)
We're also happy to help with labor-only moves, like if you're moving stuff from one room to another. So, why stress? Contact us today and let us make your move a breeze!
No-Go's
Sadly there are a few things we don't move for safety reasons

Grand pianos, hazardous chemicals, paint and pool tables are all on our NO-GO list
​
we can unmount any TVs but we do not remount.

Travel Time
We do add travel time to any move further than 15 minutes from our home base in Muller. If you're moving from central Austin to Kyle you wont be charge travel time to your pick up location but will be charged travel time for us to get back to home base.
travel time is not the same as the overall hourly and depends on how big of a crew you have helping you out. Its helps to make sure our movers are getting paid for their time
Should I Tip my movers?
You'll definitely want to once you see how amazing they are! Cash tips are greatly appreciated but tips can always be added to an invoice or total at the end of the move
